One day, the mayor of Almendingen, Alois Brumberger, finally receives the long-awaited news that the incorporation of Entenbach and thus the elevation of Almendingen to a large municipality is to be approved by the district administration. It is only natural that the municipal council of Entenbach, with its mayor Sepp Kirchlechner at the helm, does not want to accept this incorporation calmly under any circumstances, and at the daily \"moist\" council meeting in the village's only inn, swearing terrible revenge on the people of Almendingen. Shortly afterwards, the first incident occurred, which almost ended in the Entenbachers' favor. Unfortunately, the Entenbachers' large-scale offensive had to be called off prematurely due to a lack of fuel for their fire engine. However, this setback left the Entenbachers in no peace and both sides are now endeavoring to dig out the water from the other community. It is understandable that they are not very squeamish about it. The Bavarian fighting cocks even welcome the help of a Prussian and an Italian employed as an Alpine herdsman. It was to be expected that the two would cause even more confusion and the dispute between the two villages culminates in a fierce battle in the hall, which, however, does not lead to a decision. It is only when the two young people Uschi and Sigi join forces that the dispute between the communities finally comes to a conciliatory end. \"
