The Schleich figures are all modeled true to detail, lovingly hand-painted and stand for educationally valuable play. Foals have a so-called foal coat in the first few weeks, which is particularly fluffy. The first coat change is always very exciting because the color can become lighter or darker. It can also change over time. There are 17 recognized coat colors, including such unusual ones as Mausfalbe, Cremello and Perlino.
Quarter horses are mostly red and bay.
