In Stamp Collection, players take on the role of philatelists whose aim is to build up a collection of unique stamps from all over the world! There is no better place to do this than the collector's market, where you can find real gems and complete your collection with fantastic specimens. There you will also meet other collectors who will enjoy looking at your collection and often appreciate it too. Do your best and show off what you have collected! The stamps for your collection are bought from a general pool, but their price changes during the round. A player can only place a selected stamp on their collection board once the field has been prepared, i.e. a \"base\" tile of the corresponding color has been placed. As the collection grows, the philatelists can be visited by other collectors who bring them boxes of chocolates, which are worth extra points at the end of the game.
